New multibox team : 4 warlocks and a priest

After getting my shaman /pally team to 80 I’ve decided to roll another team.

I wanted something more focused on PVP, but that was different from the shamans.  I decided that I would roll them on a pvp server for some world pvp fun as I go. (In reality I imagine I’ll get ganked to hell).

Luckily I have a 55 priest and a 69 paladin on the same server - which means I can also have a PVE team if i fancy doing some instances. But that is many levels away.

My first ever toon was a warlock and I had some great fun pre Wrath in PVP.  I played affliction and was very very mobile.  Dotting up the enemy and moving on.

Where the warlock really shone was when he was lucky enough to have a healer with him.  I remember guarding stormpike graveyard in AV from 5 or 6 opponents.  We survived and the enemy were dead on the floor.

Now imagine four warlocks running with a healer.

If i went affliction there would be a ton of dots eating away at the enemy, 4 deathcoils, 4 x howl of terrors and fear to keep melee off of me.  And if push comes to shove a quick teleport out of melee range.  I even have a strategy planned for having the priest drop a lightwell on the teleport point and combined with click to move and interact with target have him run to the lightwell (thus running away from the melee).

I’ll have to check timings and ranges but it’s an idea.

If i went demonology I would have 4 felguards. 4 x demon form, 4 x immolation aura combined with 4 x hellfire for massive aoe damage - whilst being healed by a discipline priests holy nova.

If i went destruction  I would have massive damage potential….and still have teleport to get away from melee.  Never played destro much so I’m sure I’m missing out on huge advantages.  4 x chaos bolt would be a big opener that’s for sure.

Personally I suspect i’ll be favouring affliction, but I’ve got a long way to go right now.

I’m doing this without Refer a Friend so it will be a lot slower getting to 60, but that will give me a lot of time for some fun.
